We are a fully equipped fitness centre, boasting a programme targeted for all walks of life. Open 7 days a week, both members, and paying customers can take part in a plethora of activities to keep moving, reach their goals, and build support groups the way!

Our Facilities

Our facility offers over 70 diverse fitness classes each week, providing something for everyone. Enjoy access to multiple gym spaces, a dedicated spin studio, and specialised zones for group exercise and fitness classes. Train outdoors in our designated outdoor training areas or take advantage of our 2.5km road circuit, perfect for running or cycling. For your convenience, we also provide fully equipped changing rooms and showers to enhance your experience.

Functional Training Room

Squat racks, benches, TRX ropes, cable machines, dumbells (from 2 – 40kg), leg press machine, assisted pull up/dip machine,leg curl machine

Cardio Room

Treadmills, cross trainers, stairclimber, rowing machines, exercise bike / Watt bikes, recumbent exercise bike and outdoor training zone with punch bag

Garage HIIT Studio

Rowing machines, assault bikes, SkiErgs machine, squat racks, dumb bells (4 – 30kg), jump boxes, slam balls, sand bags and battle ropes

Spin Studio

Our designated space for spin classes, with 25 ICG bikes, disco lights, air con and music

Studio 1

Mirrored room for form based classes like Yoga, dance Fitness and Combat

Studio 2

Large, open space for group exercise classes like Kettlebells and Zumba

Group Exercise

Get ready for good times and great workouts with our high-energy group exercises! Whether it’s the adrenaline rush of spin classes, the strength-building power of kettlebells, or the fun and focus of Legs, Bums, and Tums, we’ve got something for everyone.

Conditioning

Move, groove, and get fit with our Dance and Conditioning classes! Feel the rhythm with dance fitness and Zumba, or punch your way to fitness with Combat. For a full-body challenge, try the intense workouts of HIIT, Body Conditioning, and Bootcamp.

Low-Impact

Stay active and flexible with our Low Impact classes! Perfect for older adults, Chair Fit and Chat offers a gentle way to stay fit and social. For those seeking balance and relaxation, explore our range of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Fusion, and Sunrise Yoga.

Community Fitness Initiatives

We’re more than just a fitness centre — we’re a hub for community well-being. Our fitness initiatives are designed to make movement accessible and impactful for everyone! From our 5 week menopausal weight training clinics to our free Chair Fit and Chat classes for over-65s, we’re here to support health at every stage of life. New parents can stay active with their little ones in our Parent and Baby classes, and those managing existing health conditions can benefit from our GP referral program, offering a free 12-week fitness membership.

Together, we’re helping members of the community build strength, stay connected, and lead healthier, happier lives.

Menopausal Weight Training Clinic

When experiencing the menopause, women often tend to lose muscle mass and gain abdominal fat around perimenopause and menopause. Regular weight training helps boost your metabolism and stimulate muscle building cells. Weight training also helps provide the strength building stimulus women need as estrogen declines. By introducing heavy weights into your exercise regime, bone loss can be slowed down and help lower the risk of fractures and osteoporosis. Don’t forget that exercising regular boosts your mood and helps ward off depression.

Learn to train with dumbells, kettlebells, barbells with form and effectiveness in our 5-week clinic, all whilst building confidence, self esteem & support groups! 

These clinics are accessed via a £25 one off payment for all 5 sessions to non ParkFitness Members & £15 for ParkFitness members!

Parent & Baby Fitness

Forget the hassle of finding child-care, bring your baby along to your workout with our Parent and Baby classes!

Whether you are new to training, or returning having had your baby, we offer a range of exercises and circuit-based classes to suit your fitness, strength and weight loss goals. Our high energy and supportive weekday classes focus on different exercises and work in small groups so you can meet similar parents along the way!

Can I bring my baby/child along? Absolutely! We ask that babies in buggy’s are safely strapped in and older children are welcome providing they are able to sit quietly throughout the class.

Park Active Member

GP Referral

This scheme aims to help those with various health issues such as suffering from depression, anxiety, BMI of 25 and over, blood pressure etc. to gain back control of their health and wellbeing through exercise.

Our Self-Referral Exercise scheme is a 12-week membership that offers regular, low impact activity with a familiar group of people and instructors. You will progress at your own pace, with support to build long term behavior changes. Click here to find out more

Chair Fit and Chat

Discover the benefits of seated group exercise for older adults and individuals with low mobility. These free classes for over-65s make physical activity accessible, offering a safe and supportive environment for regular, low-impact movement.

After each session, participants can enjoy a complimentary hot drink and a chance to chat, fostering social connections and boosting mental well-being.
