SPRING IN THE PARK
Spring In The Park returns for 2025, with the annual, youth race series set for 6 amazing dates of circuit events for riders of the South-East region!
Spanning from April to July, this staple series in the Cyclopark event calendar, provides a great opportunity for younger riders to go head-to-head on our smooth, traffic free road circuit throughout Friday nights and Saturday mornings in Spring to Summer.
This series is unique, as although the series is hosted by the Cyclopark Charity, each race event is organised and marshalled by a different youth club each time, meaning clubs and club volunteers can gain vital experience in running races, which helps support the race scene in the region!
Each race event uses a different configuration on the road circuit, resulting in completely altered racing experience at each event. From shorter circuits with additional tight corners, to racing in anti-clockwise, we are sure to keep the series interesting and fresh for the riders competing!
RACE DATES
This year’s Spring In The Park race series is set to take place over 8 dates spanning from April 5th to July 12th 2025. Please see full race dates and event formats below!
RACE CATEGORIES
The races are split up into categories which are age-related classifications that determine which race a rider will enter based on their date of birth. For those new to racing, please familiarise yourself with the classification and corresponding age criterias below!
Youth A = U16 (Born 2009 or 2010)
Youth B = U16 (born 2011 or 2012)
Youth C = U12 (born 2013 or 2014)
Youth D = U10 (born 2015 or 2016)
Youth E = U8 (born 2017 onwards)

From race marshalling, sign on, transponder collection, gear check, timing and more, there is an opportunity for everyone to get involved this series!
CELEBRATING SUCCESS
In 2024, we celebrated the clubs, volunteers and riders who made this event happen!
After the championship round, riders were presented with custom printed, SITP, wooden trophies, with series and championships trophies and medals handed out to those won!
One special prize in particular was presented to 4T+ Cyclopark, who were awarded a club bursary for their dedication to the series by having the largest attendance of club riders across all of the race dates! This bursary would go on to fund a coaching qualification to a club volunteer, allowing more training opportunities for the riders of their and other clubs, in the region!
A massive thank you to everyone involved last year, we cannot wait to see you all trackside again this year!
