We have something for every cyclist, no matter their ability, experience, age or discipline! From traffic free circuits for road, mountain, and BMX racing to adaptive cycling, learn to ride lessons and private track and venue hire. 

Riders of all skill levels can cycle freely, attend coached sessions, or take advantage of our hire fleet! We also a range of inclusive and supportive community-oriented initiatives, and rider development pathways across multiple disciplines.

Our facilities and sessions allow anyone and everyone to access the freedom and benefits that cycling provides, all year round!

Helmets are compulsory, so ensure your bring yours along if you wish to ride with us.

Road Circuit

Whether you require a safe place for a leisurely ride with your family, or to thrash out some laps ahead of your next race, our 2.5km, traffic free, tarmac road circuit is the place to be!

Road Sessions

Cyclopark’s road coaching sessions cater to youth and adults riders alike. These structured sessions focus on group riding, endurance, and race techniques for those looking to get race ready in a controlled, traffic-free environment.

Mountain Bike Trails

Cyclopark is home to 6km of single track mountain bike trails with features suitable for riders of varying level of ability, from beginners to those who are up for a challenge! A great space for a weekend family adventure or to build up your off-road cycling skills. Check out our trail guide below!

Blue – Wide berms and gentle rollers

Red – Fast flowing trails, with spiral mountain loop and rock features

Black – Challenging rock garden sections

After Dark Policy

If you want to ride the trails after dark during the winter months, please adhere to the following rules:

  • Riders must ride in a minimum group of 2 people
  • Riders must ride with a front light as some areas of the trails are not well-lit
  • Riders must sing in and out at reception before and after riding the trails
Mountain Bike Sessions

At Cyclopark, our resident off-road coach will guide you through our trails, build your confidence and sharpen your off-road riding skills! We offer Guided rides, Intro to MTB sessions as well as 1:1 clinics for those pushing their boundaries. To find the perfect option for you and your riding level, speak to a member of the reception team

Race BMX

Cyclopark is home to a national standard, BMX race track, named after Olympic Gold Medallist, Bethany Shriever To ride our BMX track you will need to take part in an induction so that we can be sure that you have a complete understanding of the track. Once completed, and signed off, you can take part in our coached sessions.

Access to the BMX track is strictly prohibited outside of coached sessions.

Race BMX Sessions

We have a of selection of top-level coaches and local clubs on offer, bringing you a first class experience and a range of sessions to suit all abilities and ages. Our BMX Coaching pathway ranges from our compulsory BMX inductions to gauge the rider’s skill level, then they will pointed towards either Novice, Intermediate, or Expert. Alternatively, our Women’s Only and Novice Adult BMX sessions provide a relaxed approach to the sport for those who wish to access the track without racing. BMX Track riding essentials
  • A full face helmet
  • Long fingered gloves
  • Long sleeve top
  • Long trousers
  • Suitable riding footwear (ideally flat soled and sturdy)
  • Please be aware – the coach has the right to refuse access to the session should the bike not be suitable for use, or if the rider is wearing incorrect clothing.
Equipment
  • If you are using your own BMX bike, please ensure that it is in good working order
  • Stunt pegs are not permitted
  • At least one working brake must be present

Cyclocross

Cyclopark is firmly established as one of the best dedicated Cyclocross centres in the UK, with a semi-permanent course for training and racing available throughout the Autumn and Winter. This sport is dynamic, exciting and physically demanding, as well as being great for spectators!

Cyclocross Sessions

Our Cyclocross training sessions have generated some incredible talent and resutls over the last few years, with regular sessions available for under 12’s, all the way up to veteran riders, we cater for all ages that gain access to expert coaches and top class facilites and features. These sessions only run between September and February.

Learn to Ride

Open up a whole new world by learning to ride a bike! Whatever your age or previous experience, our coaches will help build your confidence and have you pedaling along in no time!

These sessions take place in our sports zone, away from other areas of the park to give riders privacy to work with our in house coaches to get you riding in one 50 minute minute session! We even include all of the equipment so you don’t even need to bring your own bike!

Cyclo4All

Cyclopark is all about making cycling fun and accessible for everyone! Through our Cyclo4All program, kids and adults with disabilities or special needs can enjoy amazing, inclusive cycling experiences. Our friendly, trained volunteers will help find the perfect bike for each rider, so they can feel the joy of cycling, no matter their ability. With the biggest fleet of adapted bikes in the South East, we’ve got everything you need to get started in a safe and welcoming space. Come ride with us and discover the thrill of cycling!

Cyclo4All Session

Cyclo4All sessions take place every week on Wedensdays. All those who wish to attend must complete an induction session with their carer / gaurdian so that they can be assessed and assigned to a bike which best suites them. Contact reception@cyclopark.com

Bike Hire

Here at Cyclopark, mountain bike hire is available throughout the week. Hire bikes can be used on both the road circuit and mountain bike trails. Sizes vary from size large mountain bikes to small, single speed children’s bikes so there is an option for all the family!

All hires, excluding balance bikes, include access to the cycling areas and a helmet.
