National Cyclo-cross Championships 2025
The Cyclopark Charity are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the 2024/5 British Cycling National Cyclo-cross Championships! As one of the most prestigious events in the UK’s cycling calendar, we will be bringing together the Nation’s top cyclo-cross riders for a weekend of technical, off-road racing on the January 11th and 12th 2025!

The energy and excitement of cyclocross racing are like no other, with riders battling through challenging terrains, unpredictable weather & changing course conditions. We’re looking forward to another unforgettable weekend filled with thrills ‘n’ spills, cheering crowds, and the incredible spirit of cyclocross!

Pre National Championships Session | Saturday 14th December:
Get ready for the only weekend Cyclocross coaching session at Cyclopark before the National Cyclocross Championships on January 11th-12th, 2025!
This session is tailored for riders racing at the National Trophy level, focusing on the challenges of the championship course ahead of race weekend. With expert coaching from some of the UK’s best Cyclocross coaches and a detailed technical program, this is a must-attend for serious competitors aiming for the top spot!
Date: Saturday, 14th December 2024
Time: 10:00 - 14:30
Cost: £20 per rider
This session is divided into 4 groups to ensure focused coaching:
Youth A & B, Juniors (12-18)
Vets (40+)
Women (16+)
U23s & Seniors (18+)
Coaching Zones:
Pits - Planks & Bridge
BMX Bank off-camber
Ruts and Wiggles (including Tarmac Starts)
Iconic 47-step staircase
Session Outline:
10:00-10:30: Arrival & Briefing
10:30-14:00: 4 x 45-minute rotations across zones
14:00-14:30: Full-course lap practice
What You’ll Need:
- Race bike and spares
- Riding kit for all weather conditions
- Wash equipment (if needed)
This session is aimed at riders competing in the National Championships and actively racing at the National Trophy level. Expect a highly technical and intensive experience led by top-tier coaches, including UK Cyclocross legend, Ian Field, alongside supporting coaches and special guest riders!
