Cyclopark Tree Of Kindness

This year, the Cyclopark Charity is looking to give back to our local community and make this Christmas magical for everyone!

We understand that this time of year may not be filled with joy for all, but we want to make sure everyone has a present to open, and a smile on their face this Christmas. We have identified local charities, care homes and causes that have individuals that may not receive a present this year, so we are asking our members and customers to take part in our ‘Tree Of Kindness’ and gift a present this year!

We will have Christmas baubles hanging on a tree in reception with a gender, age and a gift they would love to receive attached. Members of the public will choose a bauble, buy the gift and return it to the Cyclopark, unwrapped, in a gift bag. Closer to Christmas, we will check, wrap and deliver these gifts to the individual ready for them to open on Christmas day!

The deadline for us to receive the gifts generously purchased by you, is the Tuesday 10th December!

How does it work?

Cyclopark’s Christmas campaign is simple. We have worked with local charities and homes to identify individuals who may not be fortunate enough to receive a gift this Christmas. As a charity ourselves, the Cyclopark Charity wants to give back to our local community at this special time of year and make sure everyone has something to open this Christmas.

What can and can’t be included in the gift bags?

Any item, from any store, can be included in the gift bags, that matches the present idea on your chosen tag. The only thing that cannot be included is perishable food & drink.

Do I need to wrap the present?

Please do not wrap the present, instead, just deliver it back to us in a Christmas gift bag. Once we have checked the presents, we will wrap these before delivering them ready for Christmas.

When do I need to deliver the gift back by?

All gifts need to be delivered back to us by Tuesday 10th December, so we can deliver these before Christmas.

Why is the Cyclopark doing this Christmas Campaign?

To give back to our local community! We understand that Christmas is not always the easiest time, and if we can make a difference, we want to!

How much can the gift cost?

It is up to the public to decide how much they wish to spend on a gift, this can be little or large. We just ask that it matches/relates to the tag they choose.

There are three charities who have provided gift requests from those who are in their care. Each of these charity's gift requests will be identifiable by different coloured ribbons on the tag:

Orange Ribbon: ellenor

Red Ribbon: The Hollies Residential Home

Blue Ribbon:  Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services

Please read the tag, take the bauble, purchase their gift and spread some Christmas magic this year!
