Junior On Your Bike

Welcome to Junior On Your Bike, the exciting collaboration between Gravesham with Ebbsfleet Rotary and The Cyclopark Charity Trust to stage this new event for children and families to get riding this summer! Expanding on Gravesham’s historic On Your Bike, this event promises to provide a day of cycling activities for all abilities at Cyclopark - Kent’s premier cycling venue!

Whether you're a novice or an confident rider, Junior On Your Bike will provide a fun, safe, and inclusive environment on the 2.5km traffic free tarmac circuit, 6km of mountain bike trails and specific teaching areas for everyone to enjoy!

There will be a combination of open sessions to turn up and have a go at as well as well as sessions led by our expert coaches.  Don’t have a bike? No problem! We offer a variety of bikes for hire to suit all ages. Available to book on the day.

Tickets are based off of which activities you wish to partake in: 

  • £10 for Bike Activities with your own bike & helmet 
  • £5 for Balance Scoot & Play Activities with your own equipment 
  • Bike hire is available for an additional cost on the day & subject to availability 
  • Non riding / spectating parents do not require a ticket
  • Parents that wish to ride must purchase a Bike Activities Ticket

What’s on at Junior On Your Bike:

  • Traffic Free Tarmac circuit: Enjoy a smooth and safe ride on our traffic free tarmac track, perfect for building confidence and having fun on two wheels. Join in the casual Open Laps sessions or if you’re feeling a bit more competitive, take part in the Go-Ride (kids novice) or Time Trial races!
  • Mountain Biking: Explore gentle trails that provide a taste of cycling adventure for those looking to ride off-road. Take part in the Open Trails or join led sessions with our expert coaches! 
  • Adaptive Cycling: Exclusive cycling sessions to accommodate children with disabilities or additional needs, ensuring everyone can participate!
  • Balance Bike / Scooters: For younger children who are yet to take their first pedals, enjoy specific sessions to get them rolling!
  • Demo Shows from the world of Freestyle Cycling.
  • Dr Bike: come and learn how to do some basic maintenance tasks with Community Cycle Works
